Off the Beaten Path

Batanes, Siquijor, Camiguin and the islands most visitors never reach, for people who like a slower route.

Some of the best places in the Philippines are the ones with fewer flights. Batanes, at the far north, looks more like the Scottish coast than the tropics, with stone houses, rolling hills and weather that sometimes cancels the plane. Siquijor is small, quiet and known for its healers. Camiguin has volcanoes, hot springs and almost no crowds.

Getting to these places takes more planning and a little flexibility, which is exactly where we help. We build in buffer days for weather, pick the few good places to stay, and pair a remote island with an easier stop so the whole trip still flows. Hidden Philippines is also a state of mind: early starts, a different beach to everyone else, a town that isn't on the tour.
