12 DAYS
Bohol • El Nido
The Gentle Philippines
For travellers who want comfort and fewer early starts: a private car and guide, good hotels that are easy to reach, short boat days and time to rest.
We designed this route for travellers who want to see the Philippines properly but at an easier pace, and it is especially popular with couples over sixty and with anyone travelling with older parents. Every transfer is private. Hotels are chosen for easy access, with no long walks on sand or steep steps, and for good food. Boat days are short, with shade, and finish by lunchtime if you prefer.
You begin with a private tour of old Manila, then spend four days on Bohol, with its countryside, river and beaches, and four in El Nido, where the boat days can be as gentle as you like. There are only two travel days, and both are timed so there are no very early starts.

Questions travellers ask
1. Is it suitable for limited mobility?
Tell us exactly what is easy and what is not, and we will choose hotels, boats and visits to match. Some boats need a short step from the beach; we choose the easiest options.
2. Can we have a Spanish-speaking guide?
Yes, we can arrange Spanish- or English-speaking guides.
