Linapacan Expedition
Five days by traditional boat from Coron to El Nido through the remote Linapacan islands, sleeping in simple island camps. Then El Nido and Siargao to finish.
Between Coron and El Nido lie hundreds of islands that almost no one visits, and Linapacan has some of the clearest water in the country. The only way to see them properly is by boat. On this expedition you travel five days on a traditional outrigger with a local crew, snorkelling, swimming, visiting fishing villages and sleeping in simple island base camps, with fresh food cooked on board.
It is an adventure, not a cruise: the camps are basic and the schedule follows the weather. Before it, you have Coron's lakes and reefs. After it come El Nido and five easy days in Siargao to rest. Expeditions run mainly from November to May and have limited places, so book early.

Questions travellers ask
1. How basic are the camps?
Simple huts or tents on the beach, with shared toilets and bucket showers. Comfortable enough, but not a hotel. That is part of the experience.
2. Can it be cancelled because of the weather?
Yes. If the sea is too rough, the operator changes the route or the date. We plan a backup so your trip still works.
